As a Gold UNICEF Rights Respecting school our ethos is focused on valuing individuals in their own right as we believe our children have the right to be heard and develop their full potential. We aim to develop learners who are passionate, are proud of all achievements and take ownership of their learning by making independent choices built on resilience. We strive to offer a happy, secure and stimulating learning environment which embraces honesty and respect. Our curriculum encompasses the development of knowledge and skills in school subjects so that pupils are ready to be global citizens as well as vital interpersonal skills around play, communication and relationships.

We would like our school, which reflects British values, to be at the heart of the community. We aim to nurture our children on their journey through life so that they can grow into safe, confident, caring, democratic, responsible and tolerant adults who make a positive difference to British Society and to the world. We allow everyone to participate in learning and the whole life of the school by placing important rights at the heart of every decision made.
