The local community is very important to our school and to the lives of our families. This showcases our close links with our local community – visits our children make to the community, visitors in and out of school who support our families and enriching experiences for our children to participate in. This develops our children to be good citizens and understand the importance of community. For example, supporting their understanding of charity work.

We have a monthly coffee morning where parents and carers are invited to share a cuppa with other families and staff. Each month, we have a guest from our community to share how they support our families.

Across the school year, we engage children and families alongside the community in Family Learning events. Previous events have included floristry, art and crafts and cookery. As a school, we would love to know of any courses or support you would be interested taking part in.
