Article 24: You have you right to the best possible health care.
As part of our ongoing community work we were all asked to contribute to designing a window display to celebrate a special awareness day on July 5th 2021. The NHS, Social Care and Frontline Workers’ Day reflects an important date as on July 5th 1948, a historic moment in our country’s history is marked as this was the day our pioneering National Health Service (NHS) was first began. This annual day of thanks provides us with the chance to express our gratitude to all NHS and frontline worker staff as well as remember those who have lost their lives and been impacted by the current pandemic. In school, we have reflected on the many amazing qualities we have seen from lots of different people including bravery, determination, resilience, flexibility and kindness. Every class has helped to create this wonderful window artwork which will be displayed in a local council building to show how thankful we all are at CHJS for the inspiring care that continues to take place and be available. Thank you to all of our wonderful key workers!
