School pupils have been taking part in a patriotic project to mark the Queen’s Platinum Jubilee. Youngsters across County Durham and Darlington have been making their own flags, which will be stitched together and put on display. The finished designs, featuring original artwork by the children, will be shown at the No. 42 gallery in Bishop Auckland Market Place for six weeks. The project has been organised by the Angel Trust, which provides charity support and service to groups and individuals experiencing financial hardship.
