Durham Enterprise Team

19th June 2022 By angelaritson

Article 29: Your education should help you use and develop your talents and abilities. It should also help you learn to live peacefully and respect other people.

Year 6 have worked with Durham Enterprise Team this worked. They had the opportunity to become managers, accountants, buyers, sellers or members of the production team. Over a series of trading ‘days’, the teams made and sold origami ducks by following different instructions! The purpose of the day was to make as much money as they could and learn about important business and life skills. We found out about different aspects of careers. Each team started with a start-up fund and by the end of the day, each of our little business groups had made a profit. The Y6 team and the visitors saw some fabulous negotiations, examples of teamwork and more importantly, resilience! Well done Y6!
