We all were given a challenge in DT, the challenge was to build structure in 50 mins which had to withstand the weight of a dictionary for 30 seconds. We could only use newspaper and cellotape. Before we began building the structure, we divided ourselves into teams and we directed jobs to each other. Together, we discussed our design then began constructing. Finally, we tested the strength of our structures. Not all survived! by Joel J.
3C are continuing to learn how to play the ukulele this term. We are thoroughly enjoying our ukulele lessons with Mrs Coulls, the music teacher. We are continuing to play and learn new songs and rhythms. We now know how to play and transition between three chords. Each chord needs different number of things to play. The C chord id only one. The F chord is two fingers. Finally G7 we use three fingers to play. Our latest song we are learning to sing and play is ‘The Lion Sleeps Tonight’.
