This week has been our annual Active Week. It always proves to be a fun and exciting week with a whole range of activities to support our continued focus on physical and mental health. Pupils engaged with kurling and boccia activities led by Miss Johnson where some great levels of competition could be seen! On Wednesday, Year 3 attended a cricket skills event at Bishop Auckland Cricket Club. They participated in a range of activities to develop batting, bowling and fielding skills. The end of the week has been extremely busy with pupils out on the field. They have taken part in ultimate frisbee, a whole school multi skills festival and a whole school rounders competition which have been thoroughly enjoyed by all. You can see the evidence in these photographs! Thank you to those families who attended our sports day this morning. We are so pleased we can include families in these events once again. Children will receive certificates linked to sports day next week. Well done everyone!
